HeadphoneMagic™contains two main components:
- Personalization Engine: running on any personal computer or mobile device
- Runtime Processing: running on the audio device itself
HeadphoneMagic™ Personalization Engine accurately measures the user's hearing response across the entire audio spectrum via a short automated hearing test. The individual characteristics of the user are stored in a personal profile.
When listening to music through a HeadphoneMagic™ enabled product, the left and right music signals from the music source are compensated separately and passed to the corresponding headphones/earphones.
